The hotel's rooms are looking a little tired, but they come with a sink, lounge area, and nicely appointed bathroom. The reception area was very dark. The service bothered us at all unless needed and the staff were friendly and helpful, despite the occasional rudeness. The location is great for being close, but not too close to main centers where traffic can be congested, with easy access to all points of interest in Canberra. The dining options had something for everyone, with tasty dishes and coffee. The facilities were simple but satisfactory.
